When it became clear that Craters MTB Park wouldn’t be opening for some time and we began to understand the extent of the work to clear the local trails, we knew the cycling community would be as gutted as we were. We also knew that you’d get behind us, and you did and we are totally blown away by your support.

Since we broke the news to all our members and our wider our cycling community, the response has been truly extraordinary.

We know that you as our members and supporters feel a great sense of pride and responsibility towards our network of trails and Craters MTB Park and that has been made very clear in the past weeks.

We have received small and large donations from all over the country, people forgoing their entry fees to Craters Classic as a donation, so many emails, texts, people stopping us and wishing us well and people putting their hands up to get ‘stuck in’ when the time comes.

The Track Crew came in from working on some of the tracks today, went to pay for their coffee at the Hub Café, and some awesome people had left some money behind the counter for the guys to have coffee! Very cool!

We would like to express our gratitude for all the incredible support we have received. We appreciate everything everyone is doing. We believe our local trail network is something special and Craters MTB is a truly unique place which we hope to open up to you all as soon as possible.
