Our trail crew has been out inspecting and clearing the trails and can report as follows:

GREAT LAKE TRAILS

Orakau OPEN - From the road to down to the Kawakawa Bay

Otaketake OPEN - Only from the road to down to the Kawakawa Bay K2K (Kawakawa to Otaketake is still closed)

Headland Loop OPEN

W2K (Whaikaipo to Kinloch) OPEN

Waihaha OPEN

Waihora OPEN

HUKA TRAILS

Huka Falls to the Hub OPEN

Aratiatia Loop - OPEN

Wairakei Resort track CLOSED (can bypass via bike lane on the road)

From the Hub to town via redwood / junk and disorderly Huka Trails CLOSED - The Express Way track is open for use

Redwoods and Junk and Disorderly - CLOSED still very disorderly
