2021 Membership Update

Hey Biking community,

Just a little update in regards to Bike Taupo 2021 memberships.  Our current blue membership tags are valid until 31st October 2020.  Our new tags will be available online and in the below outlets from 25th September.

By becoming an annual or visitor member of Bike Taupo, you are supporting an organisation that actively promotes cycling and represents the interests of all cyclists in the Taupō District. Under the terms of our lease of Craters Mountain Bike Park from the Crown, everybody using the park must belong to Bike Taupo.

The Taupo Mountain Bike club is a separate entity to Bike Taupo. If you wish to participate in the MTB Club races, social rides and events, you can join for no extra charge. Bike Taupō will then forward a percentage of the sub to the Taupō MTB Club for membership fees. Tick the MTB box when completing your registration and your tag will be a purple colour one side which indicates you have joined the club.

Online is the preferred method to purchase your membership, we will post your tags to you.  You can purchase at the below outlets via cash/eftpos or online in store to collect your tags onsite:-

Huka Cycles, Pack and Pedal, Torpedo 7, Bike Sale, Top Gear Cycles, Hub Cafe, Four B at the Hub, Visitor I site

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home.
